1st Post of 2017!!!!!!!!!!! Grammarly!!!!!!! New Voting Poll!!!!!!!!!

Hey Everyone,
So I just realized that I have not posted or done any blog updates since last year! So todays post is sort of a 3-in-1 Post.  It is the first post of 2017, an announcement about a cool grammar-checker, and announcing a new voting poll.

There is a super cool Grammar-Checker called Grammarly.  You can visit it at grammarly.com.  A good thing about this is that it can correct more mistakes then Microsoft Word can.  It can correct misused words, misspelled words. and misused punctuation! Because that isn't good enough, there is one more thing about it, its 100% FREE!!!!!! Yes, I did say Free! You can upgrade to Grammar Premium that is not free, but the regular App is super functional and i am okay with it.

Before i go, I would like to announce the voting poll I put up, it ends on March 20th and it is called....
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SCHOOL SUBJECT?

So remember to vote on this voting poll before it closes.  On March 20th, i will announce the results!

The Blog Story

Good Morning! Its Bloggerlover again! Now I am going to tell you how this blog got started! Lets get into this!

Sometime In late October of 2015, I realized lots of my friends had blog.  Blogger Girl did, BloggerA (then Naturelove21) did, and then i believe Musicgirl14 hadn't entered the world of blog authors yet (no offense, Musicgirl14) I thought to myself Why shouldn't I start a blog? This thought become real on November 8, 2015, when I started this very first blog of mine, which you are now reading.  Since then it has been renamed MANY times.  Also, since then I have become a part of many other blogs, the links are in my profile.  I was welcomed into the list of contributors on a blog called Animal Lovers (al1123.blogspot.com) a blog started by Blogger Girl, and contributors now include #Animal Lover, BloggerA, Musicgirl14, and myself.  Then my friends and I started a bible mission blog for our Bible Mission.  My brother invited me to the blog and i accepted.  You can find this blog at themrbuckleymemorialbiblemission4.blogspot.com Sorry that is a long address.

Christmas is Coming

Hey Everyone! Who thinks 2016 has been a fast year? I do for sure! It seems like just a short time ago, when I was eating cinnamon buns on Christmas Morning, after opening presents.  That time is coming again.  Before we know it we'll be stuck untangling Christmas lights and making sure no bulb is burned out, and hanging Tinsel and Lights on the tree, and hanging ornaments  until it is covered in ornaments, in my house the phrase "Covered In Ornaments" is not just a phrase, its the truth, basically.  Believe it or not, I went into my room, and lugged out a trunk, full of nutcrackers, 19 to be exact.  They are set up on my desk, all except for two small ones on shelves above the TV, and a countdown snowman, which is on the mantle above our fireplace.  Yet, we brought a "Thankful Turkey" decoration I made when I was little, and a Cornucopia my brother made when he was little, both made out of craft foam.  On a table behind our couch is a Little People Thanksgiving Celebration set, yesterday.  It is a mix of two holidays in my house.  It doesn't seem like its been long since I started school this year, but today we started the 8th week.  This morning, I made a Christmas Countdown Chain, i think i have posted how to make one before, many of you may know how, and If I discover i haven't posted it, I will post how, so those of you who don't know, can learn how.

Some Packing Tips

Hey Everyone! I know I posted already today but I wanted to share with you some Packing Tips.  These tips will hopefully save space in your suitcase and make packing Fun and Easy.  Lets get into this!

1. Roll Outfits into a Roll:
Then when it's time to get dressed, you can just grab a roll.  Simply take a shirt, fold the sleeves in, fold in half lengthwise, and put the rest of your outfit inside and roll it up! Pants may not fit, shorts might, though.

2. Pants
If your pants don't fit in your outfit roll, you can put the legs together and roll it right up.  I did this with my Pajama Pants and my Jeans.

3. Socks
You can roll your socks into your outfit roll, but this is another way.  Don't dedicate a certain spot for socks.  If there are enough little spaces in your suitcase, you can stick a ball of socks right in.  Me, not being able to ball socks, simply lay two socks on top of each other, a pair, and roll them up.  My suitcase is filled with little rolls of simply everything!

4. Socks in Shoes
If you were going to a place where you may get your feet wet, you may want extra shoes, or if you just want extra shoes with you in your suitcase.  You should always pack extra socks because if the weather turns rainy and your socks get wet or muddy somehow, or if they get dirty before the day is over...It just nice to pack extra socks.  I am packing an extra pair of shoes and two pairs of socks.  What i did was i rolled up my socks, and stuck one pair in each shoe.  It saves space.

5. Toiletry Bag
I like to keep things like shampoo, my toothbrush, and my hairbrush and stuff like separated from my clothes.  I pack a separate toiletry bag.  I put my toothbrush in a case or at least cover the brush part, put my Shampoo in a quart size bag (just in case it leaks) and also pack toothpaste, my retainer (in its case of course) because I only wear it at night.

6. Non-Clothes Bag
We probably all admit, we want to do something other then sit in the car if we take a road trip (unless you are the driver!) I pack a duffel bag or backpack with my Laptop, My laptop charger, My laptop mouse, I don't always use it but it's nice to have.  I also pack books, a notebook, a pen, a pencil, maybe a few pens and pencils instead of one of each.  A wallet is something I always pack if I have spending money.  When you go on a vacation, you want to have something to remember it by, such as a magnet, a snowglobe, a postcard, Things like that.  This will also serve as my non-clothes bag, with magazine and such Non-Clothes items I want to bring on vacation but not in my suitcase.

I hope these packing tips help you next time you pack a suitcase or other bag.  Bye for now i will try to post again soon!

Uno Custom Cards

Hey Everyone! I have not posted in a long time! Well have you heard of the card game UNO? Its really fun and easy.  Well anyway, my brother and I love this game and would like to liven it up a while with something called Uno Custom CardsToday i will tell you how you can make these custom cards.

Gather Your Supplies:
Blank Sticky Labels (small, if they're large, its okay)
Scissors (If your labels are large)
UNO Cards-The custom cards we made were 2 of the custom card Take 2 Turns, and 1 draw 6 custom card, and the best of all, 1 draw 8 custom card.  You do not have to do these very custom cards but i will give instructions on how to make all of them.  You will need 2 2's, a 6, and an 8, one of each color in UNO-Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green.
Pen or Pencil

Instructions for the Take 2 Turns Cards:
Take your two 2 cards and stick one label above the two in the middle, and one below it on each card.  Write on the top label of each "Take" and the bottom label of each "Turns" so the two falls in the middle, making the card say "Take 2 Turns"

Instructions for the Draw Cards:
Take your 6 and your 8 and stick a label above the 6 in the center of the card, and the 8 in the center of the card.  Write on each of these labels "Draw" the card will now say "Draw 6" or "Draw 8" Optional: Below the center number stick another label and write on it "Cards" so the cards say "Draw 6 Cards" and "Draw 8 Cards"

Another Kind of UNO custom card is a Half Wild.  To make that you can cover two of the colors on a wild with a label and you can only change the color to the colors that are not covered.

Psalm of the Day

Good Morning Everyone! Every day from now on, I will be posting a Psalm of the Day.  Today I will be posting Psalm 1, Tomorrow Psalm 2, The next day Psalm 3, when we get to psalm 119, I will post it in sections since it is long.

Psalm 1
 Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
    nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
He is like a tree
    planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
The wicked are not so,
but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
    nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.

I will be posting my DIY or craft later today hopefully so check back later!

Hi Everyone! It's that time of year when all of the kids and teachers go back to school.  I start next week and am going into 6th grade and I can't tell you how excited I am! and I am NOT being sarcastic I can't wait to start! Yesterday I looked at all my books and now I am going to tell you all about them

Government:
This year Government is taking the place of History.  The curriculum I am using is called Uncle Sam and You by Ray and Charlene Notgrass.  It was published in 2012 and it is for grades 5-8.

Spelling and Vocabulary:
For years the curriculum my brother and I have used is Wordly Wise.  It is easy and I like it.  It comes in books for grades K-12.  This series is written by Kenneth Hodkinson and Sandra Adams

Language Arts:
My next subject is Language Arts.  The copyright date for this book is 2003.

Biology:
This year I am doing biology.  No dissections or anything like that, just basic things.  The book is called Christian Kids Explore Biology I don't know the author or the copyright for this book.

Arithmetic:
My last subject is Arithmetic.  I am doing Abeka Arithmetic 6.  We have been doing Abeka math for years.

To all the students and teachers, you have to go back to school soon!

App Reviews

Hey, Everyone! I am going to give reviews on some apps I use!

Hey Everyone!! Today i am going to give you some reviews on some apps i use!

Image result for pinterest logo

Pinterest is basically a website where you can go to other websites and Pin or Save pictures, quotes, anything, onto Boards, which are basically Pages, so you can refer back to them.  If you can never seem to find a certain Recipe you found online, I recommend Pinterest.  It's also a good way to share things with other people, and there is also Instant Messaging on Pinterest!

Skype Requires a Webcam A camera that comes installed on some computers, and you may have to purchase them for some.  You can Video call using the Webcam, or Chat with the Instant Messaging.  I very rarely video call with any of my friends, but still, it is a very good feature to have to keep in touch.

Image result for grammarly logo
If you can never seem to write a paragraph without making errors, I highly recommend Grammarly.  It's a free app that you can install.  It points out things that are spelled wrong or Grammatically Incorrect and underlines Incorrect Grammar with a green line and misspelled words with a red line.

Image result for blogspot logo
I know that Blogger is the very surface I am writing this on but if you have been looking to start a blog I highly recommend you to blogger.  It's Free, Convenient, and Easy to Use.

 Image result for google logo

I am pretty sure you all know that Google is a search engine.  You simply go to google.com and type in anything you want to find, you type in Everything Imaginable! and it would come up with a link to this very blog! I also use Google for Maps and Mail.

Image result for pandora logo
Pandora, as you may know, is a music website.  It is free, and you can make an account, and then make albums (groups) of your favorite songs.  If you have been looking for somewhere to save your favorite songs, I highly Recommend Pandora.

Image result for tidido logo

Tidido is another Music Website.  You can search any artist, album, or song, and listen to it! Tidido is also free, and you do not need an account.

I think that's all for now and i might be posting more things soon, so stay tuned! And remember! Next Tuesday, another Craft!
